Craig Ballard
Craig is Founder and Creative Director for Colour Urbanus, Inc. (CU), a full-service creative marketing and communications firm. Before establishing CU, Craig directed marketing communications operations for businesses like MCI (now Verizon), BET/Viacom, The National Civil Rights Museum, AutoZone, CBRE, The Family Research Council, Douglas Development Corporation, and Inovalon.
His volunteer work has included being a board member of the Memphis Urban League Young Professionals, the Memphis Urban League, Memphis Planned Parenthood, and Shelby Farms Conservatory. In the political realm, Craig has served as Campaign Chair for the Honorable Derrick Leon Davis, 6th District Councilman for Prince Georges County, and co-chair for the Honorable Derek Davis, Maryland State Representative, and Whip. Craig is also an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. He has served as a chapter charter member, Basileus, district representative, and the graphics committee for the Fraternity's International Headquarters.

A graduate of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (formerly Maryland State College), Craig received a bachelor's degree in English with a Concentration in Communications and a minor in Art Education. Craig also earned a master's degree from the University of Memphis in Integrated Strategic Media and continuing studies certificates from George Washington University in marketing and public relations.

An active and engaged parent of twin girls, Craig is a recently appointed member of the Countywide Citizen Advisory Committee of the Anne Arundel County Public School System in Maryland.
